Easy Fifteen Minute Makeup Routine

Easy 15 Minute Makeup Routine

Today I will be sharing an easy makeup routine that I generally use on the weekends and some days during the week for work (if I’m running late). This look can take about ten to fifteen minutes tops! It’s great for moms, students, pretty much anyone. I’ll also link the products as well because everything here is something I have used for months or even years and totally recommend each product!

Ok, so first I always start with skincare. Skincare is so SO important. I didn’t realize this until I started working in the cosmetic industry. It is always a good idea to splurge on your skincare because that is what you start with anytime you do your makeup. If you skimp on skincare (which believe me I’ve done many times), you can purchase more expensive foundations and powders but it will never completely cover your skin. Why not spend a little more on skincare and start with great skin? I just wanted to preface my skincare choices with that because they are on the more expensive side but totally worth it. Just something to keep in mind. I usually buy most of my products while they are on a sale, using a coupon, or using points through Ulta and Sephora after I’ve saved them up for awhile.

Skincare: Advanced Night Repair Serum & Eye Cream

I used to work for Estee Lauder so I know these products inside and out and the ingredients. When I was younger I couldn’t use the ANR because it broke my skin out a few times so I gave up on it. But, now that I’m older my skin is less oily and more on the dry side some days so I still had multiple bottles of unopened ANR from my Lauder days so I broke them back out and started using them. Turns out, I LOVE this product. It gives my skin tons of moisture when I need it. I’ve started using it day and night. It’s also helping with some of my unevenness throughout my skin and skin tone. It’s definitely worth the price.

The ANR eye cream is something I have used since it came out. It’s probably my favorite eye cream, ever. It’s a gel like consistency and goes on the skin so smooth. I use it day and night. It has helped with my fine lines around and under my eyes. I can’t say it’s helped with my under eye circles since they seem to get worse every day having an almost 2 year old running around.

Moisturizer: Glow Recipe Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream

I received this moisturizer through Influenster and I actually really like it. I love the scent! It’s like a light banana scent. It goes on very smooth and makes a great base for primer/foundation.

Current skin care lineup: ANR Serum, Glow Recipe Moisturizer, ANR Eye, Dermalogica Calm Water Gel

Primer/Foundation: Lorac Light Source & Estee Lauder Foundations

I’m loving this Lorac primer since my skin is drier now. It gives a lot of shine and sheen for a more dewy and glowy look. I also LOVE this Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation. I use it a lot on the weekends and when I need a quick cover-up without needing full coverage. It’s super pretty when it goes on the skin and is moisturizing as well. I use the shade Cool Bone or Shell which are the two lightest colors.

THE HOLY GRAIL OF ALL FOUNDATIONS! Estee Lauder Double Wear is literally the BEST foundation I have ever tried. And I have tried tons!! I always always always go back to this. It’s expensive, but it is so worth it. I try to save mine by only using it for long days at work and special occasions, etc. It will last for a long time if you use it sparingly. It has the best coverage and stays on literally until you take it off with a makeup remover. I will always re-purchase this. I just wanted to add this in this post as a recommendation! It’s the best if your looking for more medium-full coverage.

Powder: Lancome Absolue Powder

I have had this powder for awhile. I stopped using it for awhile (thanks to my oily skin I tried to stay away from “glow” products) but now I am using this powder everyday. It looks amazing over foundation and is great to “bake” with under the eyes. I also love the color choices in this powder. Super pretty. The color I have is Peche.

Eyebrows: Morphe Brow Pencil

I use this every single day! It’s a great dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil. This one is much cheaper. This product seems like exactly the same to me. Even the color choices are similar.

Blush: Kylie Blush

This blush is amazing! I was shocked that it was as good as it is. I ordered this when it was on sale awhile ago because i needed a new blush. I figured I would just try it and see. This blush goes on great! It is a little more powdery than my other blushes but I actually like that. The color I got was a light pink so I tend to layer it on.

The color is pink power. Very light but looks great when layered on.

Lip/Highlight: NYX Soft Matte Cream & Estee Lauder Highlight

I have used tons of these NYX lip creams. They are super inexpensive, have great colors, and work perfectly! I recently found this color called London that is the most perfect nude shade. I have worn it pretty much everyday. It’s a great lip cream and easy to throw on with anything when your in a rush.

The highlight is one i have used for years now. I put it on everyday that I do my makeup. Some days I use it for eyeshadow. It really is multi-purpose. I love putting it on my cheekbones, nose, collarbone, etc. It gives you a nice glow without too much shimmer everywhere.

Mascara: Benefit They’re Real!

This is the small travel size of this mascara because I received it in a free gift I got from Ulta. I had never tried this mascara before that. It’s a great everyday mascara for me. I also love the brush. It doesn’t clump or go everywhere when I put it on. If you want more length in your lashes I would recommend the Bad Gal Bang mascara from Benefit or the Monsieur Big from Lancome.

Extras: Mario Badescu Facial Spray & Revolution Skincare Serum

I just wanted to add these in since I use these almost everyday as well. Both are great products to add into your skincare routine. The Revolution Serum for acne is great! It can help shrink acne overnight, but I do use it sparingly because it can take a lot out of your skin especially if your skin is sensitive!

Final Look

Super natural and easy to replicate!

I’m always looking to try new products so leave some suggestions below if you think of something you would like me to try or think I would like!

Thanks for reading,
