2019 Toddler Christmas Gift Guide

Who else is looking for the best Christmas gift guide for their toddler? I can’t believe that Christmas is right around the corner! This year has passed so quickly its insane. But Christmas will be here before we know it and now is the time to start making your lists and checking them twice!

I have done tons of research on the best toys for toddler aged children since my Liam will be 20 months old by the time Christmas rolls around this year. I want to be sure whatever I buy him is right for his age and also educational. Of course, we aren’t buying him tons of toy gifts (because honestly he already has so much and we know family will be buying more) but I wanted to make an easy to read gift guide for any other parents out there like me who love to look at lists before making their decision!

So here I will be listing all the top toys for the 2019 Christmas season from one of my favorite places to shop, Target. They are also offering a 25% off coupon for one toy or book for a child if you text them to get the code. It can be a great way to save even more.

Kid Trax CAT 6V Quad Ride On

Any type of battery powered ride-on toy is one of the top toys for kids 18 months and up. We were planning on getting Liam a ride on Jeep but they are recommended for ages 3 years and up due to smaller parts, speed, being larger, etc. so we decided to buy this smaller ride on vehicle. He really loves cars and trucks and anything on wheels so I know he’s going to flip when he sees this under the tree on Christmas morning! This is also currently on sale and I’m sure it will be on a better sale around Black Friday time so be on the lookout if your interested.

Theres also a girl version as well:

Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet

We are kind of leery getting Liam a tablet BUT he is obsessed with Youtube videos (if your a parent I know your familiar with CocoMelon, Dave&Ava, and the most annoying of them all: Little Baby Bum) We are honestly getting him this tablet for long car drives and that’s it. To me it’s easier to hand him a tablet in the car than to try to buy a dvd player (which to me it is almost obsolete these days) or try to rig a tablet up to a headrest. This is a great gift idea for an older child though if they don’t already have one.

This tablet is made specifically for toddler aged children. It has a protective case it comes in that seems pretty much indestructible and also only offers kid and parent-approved apps and games. Definitely worth the peace of mind! This tablet will only be going on sale during Black Friday and my guess would be that the price will drop almost half so if your interested I would wait until then to purchase like we are!

Little Tikes First Slide

Perfect indoor slide! This is on my christmas list for Liam. It looks pretty safe and has great reviews all around!

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe

This cozy coupe is a great option if you don’t want to get a battery powered toy. This toy can be pushed or the child can sit and use their own legs to move the car.

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Smart Learning Home

I actually bought Liam this house last year for Christmas but he just recently became interested in it around 15-16 months old. He loves opening the door and going inside to hide his toys and playing “house”. This is a great toy for their imagination and it also helps them learn by turning lights on and off, turning the temperature up and down, and ringing the doorbell. It was totally worth the price seeing Liam in his little house playing. There’s also a smart car by Little Tikes that connects to this house. It states “Welcome Home” when the car is near the home. Super cute!

Cardinal Pinkfong Baby Shark Chunky Wooden Puzzle

What else is there to say but “Baby shark doo do do do do”.

Little Tikes Trampoline

This trampoline can be the greatest thing ever to let your kid let off a little steam without destroying the house in all it’s entirety. Liam loves to jump on his trampoline! It also is very safe and much better than a larger regular size trampoline that is way higher off the ground. I think this is a great option for a child closer to 2 years old or up.

Below I’ve linked some extra toys that are under $15 that are great as a small gift or even stocking stuffers!
