Are you looking for easy ways to make money as a stay-at-home mom? I have collected a ton of different websites that will allow you to make a small income each month. This will help you bring in some sort of income whether it’s enough for a few extra coffees a month or enough to pay bills.
Try out these easy ways to make money for a stay-at-home mom!
Easy ways to make money
Survey Websites
I know you’ve probably seen a million suggestions on how to earn money doing surveys online. Personally, I think this can be way too time-consuming for only a few dollars but it is helpful when you get short surveys and can make a couple of extra dollars a month. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot, and it’s not. But it is when you aren’t working or bringing in any kind of income at all.
You can easily do 3-5 surveys a month in your spare time and earn about $10-$20. That could easily be your Starbucks coffee once a week or a small shopping trip to your favorite store!
Here are some survey websites that are tried and true and can be trusted:
Inbox dollars
You can join Inbox Dollars and watch short videos, take surveys, and earn money. I don’t use this one a lot personally but if you sign up now you get a start-up bonus with them! It can take a while for points to add up, but every dollar counts right?!
Survey Savvy
I have used this website for years and can easily earn about $10 a month and that’s only doing a couple of surveys a month when I randomly see them in my email and I have a few extra minutes of free time. They will actually issue you a paper check that is mailed to your address when you cash out.
They also offer a program called Savvy Connect that will allow you to earn $5 a month per device. This program uses your search history on your devices. You can easily sign up and make $5-$15 every single month without having to do any surveys at all! They usually offer bonuses as well (sometimes $15 + just to sign up for the program and use it for at least a month)
I have even been offered $10 and $15 surveys but have never had the time to complete them (they are usually 30 minutes plus to complete and earn the money)
Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a survey website that rewards you with points for completing short surveys. I have used this website for a few years and haven’t made much from it. You earn points then redeem those points for gift cards. I know many people that redeem their points every couple of months and get Amazon and Starbucks gift cards so it’s worth a try!

Rebate Apps
There are many different rebate apps out there now and I absolutely love them! I have used many of them for years but just recently started using them every single time I shop. Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, every penny counts! We are living on less income than we had before and we had to account for that in our grocery budgets and shopping budgets.
I have found that if I buy different brands and focus on what’s on sale each week, I can save a ton of money on our groceries and household needs! These rebate apps can be a great easy way to make money as a stay-at-home mom.
Ibotta
This has to be my favorite rebate app, like ever! I just recently started using it and just last month I earned almost $100 back in ONE month! Ibotta puts up rebates for specific items at specific stores. I use Walmart pickup and they have a whole list of items they will give rebates for when you purchase through Walmart pickup. These items only stay for a few weeks or even days. They are constantly adding new rebates.
I love this app because I can save $20 + every single grocery trip. I have started branching out and buying new items or new brands I haven’t tried before and we are really saving money on our groceries. It’s a win-win! I recommend just downloading this app and scrolling through to see what rebate offers are available and if it will work for you. I have even gotten completely free products on this app!
Rakuten
Rakuten is a great app for online shopping. This app or browser extension allows you to earn a percentage back of whatever you have spent at specific online stores. I use this frequently for all of my online orders. It’s perfect for when you are buying new clothes, housing items, or just everyday necessities.
They also offer certain days where cashback is double or triple the regular amount! You can really earn some great cashback if you tend to shop a lot.
Freelancing Online
If you like to do certain tasks online like writing blogs, social media, keeping up with calendars and planning, etc. you could always try to freelance online and make a little extra money. Many people will pay someone to help with the small tasks required to keep a business thriving.
You could try setting up an account on Upwork or Fiverr. There are also a lot of online job boards you can search and try to find remote positions that are freelancing positions.
Think about what you are good at and hone in on that skill! I guarantee someone will be willing to pay for your services if you have done your research and know what you are doing.
Couponing
Couponing can be an easy way to make money as a stay-at-home mom! I know before it was extremely hard for me to sit down and try to figure out couponing. But now, I dedicate a little bit of time during the day to watch Youtube videos and look through ads and coupons to find the best deals. I currently coupon at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Target. You can get so many great deals just by watching Youtube and TikTok videos online.
I currently have a stockpile after just a few months of couponing. I have toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorants, shampoo, etc. It’s all in a room so if I run out of something I just go into the next room to grab a replacement! The best part is that I no longer spend $30-$50 extra every month on my grocery bill trying to buy personal products like deodorants and razors.
You can easily learn to coupon and the best part is a lot of times these stores will have digital coupons so you don’t even have to worry about buying paper ones!
Here are some of my favorite couponers to watch and follow!
Now go out there and save some money!
Blogging
Blogging can be such a great way to earn an income from home. I am completely hooked. I can be at home in my pajamas and wrangling my 3-year-old but also work on a new blog post and paid collaborations in my spare time while he naps or has “quiet time”. I can get most of my work done within an hour or two a day if I schedule it all out. I use multiple different scheduling services and planning apps to keep up with my schedule but it works!
I can tell you it’s intimidating to start a brand new blog and new social media but it’s totally worth it once you start making an income. For me, it’s one of those jobs that you are going to make what you put into it. If I spend a lot of time applying for paid collaborations and campaigns and writing new blog posts and signing up for new affiliate programs, then I will see a larger return that month. You can look up blog income reports and some bloggers earn thousands per month in income. If you really work at it, you could replace a full-time income with blogging!
There are also months that I fall off track, of course. It can be so hard as a stay-at-home mom to find the perfect balance if you are also trying to work from home. So, yes it’s definitely possible to make blogging work and earn an income! If you are interested in starting a blog check out How to Start a Profitable Blog on a Budget
Social Media/Paid Collabs
Do you have an Instagram? Tik Tok? Facebook? There are multiple brands and companies that will PAY you to advertise their products! There are so many social media campaign websites you can sign up for to try and apply for paid campaigns and collaborations.
I have personally done this and made hundreds of dollars in a month. It’s great if you love photography and have a decent social media following.
Here are some of the websites I use for paid campaigns and collaborations
Open an Etsy Shop
Do you love making crafts or popular products? You could open an Etsy shop and try to sell your products. I know I personally love to shop on Etsy because everything is very personal and handmade. If you have a product that you make and all your friends and family comment on how much they like it, why don’t you try to sell it?
You can even use your own social media to market your product and hopefully rake in the sales!
Start an online boutique
If you love clothing and accessories you can always start an online boutique. The start-up cost is super low compared to starting a boutique with a storefront. You can choose how much inventory you want to buy, take your own photography pictures, and do most of the branding yourself.
This could be a very simple way to make extra money if you have the time, the marketing skills, and the fashion know-how!
Write and sell E-books
One way a stay at home could earn money is to write and sell e-books. Many people write e-books. You can write just about anything. A great way to start would be to write about something your familiar with whether it be a hobby, a career, or just motherhood in general. Many people want to read something that is written by an “expert” on the topic.
You can sell e-books online through your own website, Amazon, and other places online.
Sell Old Items In Your House
A great way to earn a few hundred dollars or more is to sell old items in your house that you no longer use. You could sell old clothes, handbags, or shoes. You could also sell old baby toys and baby equipment like strollers, etc.
You can sell these items on Facebook Marketplace or you can even get together with family members or neighbors and have a huge yard sale one weekend!
Start Investing
This is a great one to leave on a good note. I think everyone should be investing in something continually throughout the year. Obviously, we aren’t millionaires but I try to invest a little each month. It really does not take a lot. You can easily set up a small savings account (even online!) and start earning a little bit of interest on your money each month. You can also set up brokerage accounts extremely easily from the comfort of your own home.
You could also invest in real estate, friends or family businesses, your own business, and other things. You can get such a great return on your money once you start to invest. Just make sure you do your research on what you are investing in! There are tons of videos on Youtube on how to get started in the stock market, real estate investing, and just investing in general. Go check it out!
I hope this has given you some hope and some great ideas on easy ways to make money as a stay-at-home mom. Let me know if you have or are going to try some of these out!
